Back in 1999, Binary Star—a Michigan-based duo comprised of emcees One Be Lo and Senim Silla—released their debut effort, Waterworld. Forced to put it together on a $500 budget, each verse was recorded in one-take—which led to the album being remixed and re-released a year later as Masters Of The Universe.

Included on both versions was a solo track from Senim Silla dubbed “Slang Blade.” And today, nearly 20 years after the original, One Be Lo felt the need to add his own rhymes to the Decompose-produced gem.

Beefing up the drums, the OneManArmy proceeds to rip through lines with ease on the updated “Slang Blayed.”
