Guilty Simpson released his last album, Detroit Son, in 2015, and promptly headed overseas for an accompanying tour for it. As it turns out, however, some songs did not make the final tracklisting for it. So ahead of his new tour with Slum Village and Phat Kat, he’s revealed one such song “Letting Off Steam/Love.”

Produced by Katalyst, the double-song has the feel of a vintage blaxploitation soundtrack (“Letting Off Steam”) before it smoothly slides into a typically hard–hitting head nodder. It may not have made the album, but it’s never too late to add it as a “bonus track.”
