Big Twins and Twiz the Beat Pro are set to release their collaborative project, TNT, on April 1. With its release just nine days away, we get the third single, “Take Away The Lies,” which follows the project’s first two sounds, “The Rotten Apple” with Prodigy and the Killer Ben-featured “Straight Face.”
The song features Alchemist and Evidence (known together as The Step Brothers) as they call out the phoniness surrounding their everyday lives, like rappers lyings about their drug-dealing ways. “Take away the lies from the rap n*ggas talkin’ ’bout chefin’ pies,” Twins opens up his verse as the he and two features follow with a great deal of bravado backed by their commitment to living honest lives on vinyl.
