Out of nowhere, Flying Lotus dropped three previously unreleased songs that stemmed from You’re Dead! recording sessions and before. Two of the songs feature work from talented bassist and a DopeHouse favorite, Thundercat. When these two join, like they did on “Them Changes,” they tend to make pure jazz ecstacy, and these rough cuts are no different. It’s been nearly two years since we’ve gotten a new project from the LA producer, and he’s been relatively mum in terms of releasing new music. But what we DO know is that collab with MF DOOM will be well worth the wait.
