This came out of no where.

Big Sean and Jhené Aiko just combined forces as TWENTY88—a spin on the duo’s birth year (1988) and age (28). Each rocking “1/2 of TWENTY88” in their respective social bios, Sean and Aiko revealed a 4/1 release date along with a pair of teaser clips previewing an upcoming video.

It hasn’t been confirmed if we’re getting a single or album on April 1st, but I highly doubt they’d make this much of a fuss over one song. Plus, this isn’t Sean Don and Aiko’s first time collaborating. They first linked on “Beware” on Big Sean’s Hall of Fame, and then on Dark Sky Paradise in the form of “I Know.” Fun fact: Aiko also supplied vocals to Sean’s latest banger as well.

Last year, Big Sean released his third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, which debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200. In 2014, Jhené Aiko released her first album Souled Out which debuted at number three on the Billboard Top 200 selling 70,000 copies in its first week.
