It’s been six months since we’ve been graced with Big Grams‘ self-titled EP, and it continues to be one of the easiest projects to play front-to-back since it dropped. Today, Big Boi and Phantogram tear the club up while revisiting the EP with a double-video for “Born To Shine” featuring Run The Jewels and “Run For Your Life.”
The visual starts with Killer Mike busting into a local dig a la Ric Flair, scooping up the women from the drug users and alcohol abusers before Big Grams and El-P follow taking over the scene pounding down whatever demons that come across their path.
But one of their vices grab ahold of Run The Jewels, the trio is led into a darker, more troubling world full of drugs, rats and thieves. This is no doubt one of the best and most creative visuals I’ve seen all year.
