After being the latest contestant on Mass Appeal’s “Rhythm Roulette” challenge last week, Krizzle returns with the deeply soulful and ambitious “So Bad.” The Meridian, Mississippi, native starts, “You ever wanted something so bad that you went an got it,” claiming, “I’mma go and get this shit right now,” before delivering two verses with a flow comparable to GLC on “Spaceships” full of motivation, rollings drums, chopped up soul samples and a sweet, muddled beat change over the last act of the song.
Big K.R.I.T. season is one of my favorite seasons of the year, so let’s hope K.R.I.T. is ready to warm things up. Stream “So Bad” below.
