Is Fetty Wap… Is Fetty Wap rapping? Is Fetty Wap actually spitting some bars? Is the guy from Paterson, New Jersey, who delivered some of 2015’s biggest radio hits using a dragged-out, sing-songy, not-so-perfect voice dishing out a decent freestyle? I don’t mind this.
Putting his Zoo Gang family on his back, Fetty pushes the leeches down the drain on his new melodic tune, “Zoovie Zoo.” HIs flows aren’t anything transcendent, but after hearing “yeah, baby” lead most of his songs for the better part of a year and a half, this rapping is pretty refreshing. I won’t be fooled, though. This is a decent start, but it’s time to build that rapping catalog up, Fetty.
