First announced back in June of 2015, the ambitious collaborative effort between Jet Life’s Curren$y and Taylor Gang’s Sledgren was seemingly never to see the light of day: Sled has been occupied working with the likes of PARTYNEXTDOOR, J.R. Donato and the newest member of TGOD, Sosamann, while Spitta dropped six—yes, SIX—new projects within the 11 months (the most recent being Weed & Instrumentals). However, after announcing it would arrive in the coming days, the two finally present their anxiously-awaited project, Revolver.

Revolver actually comes as a 24-minute short film, with six new tracks from Spitta and Sledge playing throughout. While the film itself features the usual suspects—JetLife members DJ Duffey, Cornerboy P, Mr. Marcelo, and Mousa Hamdan—there are also appearances from T.Y., Young Juvie and Lil Soulja Slim: the three sons of the New Orleans group B.G, Juvenile and Soulja Slim.
