Black Milk is so consistent. While he didn’t put out a project last year, he released the instrumentals for his If There’s A Hell Below LP alongside producing for the likes of Your Old Droog, Wiki and Asher Roth and Black Milk’s remained a name to always warrant a listen. Today, the Detroit rapper/producer returns armed with his backing band, Nat Turner, delivering a new 10-song instrumental LP, The Rebellion Sessions.

Black Milk kicked off the album’s rollout with “The Rebel,” which didn’t make the final cut, before dishing out “The Knock” last week. Nat Turner, by the way, is a three-piece band consisting of the following instrumentalists: Aaron “Ab” Abernathy on the piano, Malik Hunter on bass and Zebulun “Z” Horton on drums.
