In the midst of an April 1st release date filled with new albums from the likes of Curren$y, Tunji Ige, Big Twinz, Berner, a mixtape from The Hamburger Helper (no, seriously!) and Kanye’s TLOP finally arriving on Apple Music, Big Sean and Jhené Aiko unveiled their surprise, collaborative self-titled project TWENTY88.

The EP — which rolled back on features, excluding the K-Ci & JoJo & Detail-assisted “2 Minute Warning” — is described as “an album that conjures ’90s R&B and ’70s experimental rock/soul, and also mixes neo-soul, ambient beats, and trap drums” and “tells the story of the highs and lows of a relationship, with insights into conflict, memories, love, sex, and more.” After a week of breathing room, the duo have decided to share a short film which can be streamed exclusively through TIDAL.

The fifteen minute film noir-esque short, titled “Out of Love” runs the gamut of the majority of the EP’s songs, coupled with visuals which parallel the narrative being played out in each song.

UPDATE: Miss out on the original release, because F*CK TiDAL? We’ve got you covered…
