With Bishop Nehru‘s Magic: 19 mixtape set to land in just under two months (June 3), the New York native delivers the second sound from the project, “It’s Whatever.”
Rapping over a beat from Tay $lay, who used what sounds like the same sample from Kendrick Lamar’s “Untitled 07” (a.k.a. “Levitate“), Nehru chops up the production with various flows, boasting his talents through his words and actions.
Sometimes I forget this kid is only 19. “They can’t keep hating, it’s whatever. I’ve been getting great at getting better,” he spits, reminding us that not only has he been working on his already-polished craft, but that he’s got plenty of time to improve and perfect it.
