Rittz is gearing up to release his Top Of The Line LP via Strange Music on May 6. His last release, the trunk-knocking, laid-back “Propane” with Devin the Dude and MJG, was premiered here at the DopeHouse. Today, he returns with “My Window,” where the influence of growing up in the South/Georgia shines through.

“My Window” sounds straight out of the mid 2000s. Banging 808s, rolling bongos, sensual piano progressions and wailing guitar riffs, all brought together by a catchy hook full of positivity. While life may decide to shit on you and not even bother to wipe, the Gwinnett County native preaches the “thunder from the storm rolls on,” and the light from the sun will eventually champion whatever ill weather comes through.

Stream “My Window” below, and pre-order Top Of The Line on Strange Music’s website.
