With Batman v Superman seemingly down in the dumps since it’s theatrical release back in March, it’s officially time for Marvel to swing back into action. April 11th through the 14th, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel Live! are hosting their legendary Marvel week — most of it leading up to the upcoming tentpole blockbuster, Captain America: Civil War.

Monday, the gang from #TeamCap, including Chris Evans (Captain America), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Paul Rudd (Antman) and Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier) showed face and spoke about the upcoming movie, while Tuesday’s episode featured a special appearance from Clark Gregg (Phil Coulson) of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Benedict Cumberbatch — who is portraying Doctor Stephen Strange this November. During his brief appearance, Mr. Holmes Cumberbatch brought along a world premiere of the first teaser trailer for Doctor Strange (which will fully explore the mystical/dark arts on the silver screen).

The movie, directed by Scott Derrickson, just wrapped filming on April 3rd, and will star the aforementioned Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange — world renowned surgeon, who one day gets into a car accident and destroys his hands in the process, leading him on a journey to find someone who can help heal him. The voyage eventually brings him to the Ancient One (portrayed by Tilda Swinton — don’t get me started on how they hired a white woman to play what is supposed to be the role of someone of Chinese or Tibetan descent), who teaches Strange the mystical/dark arts. Rachel McAdams is rumored to portray Night Nurse, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo (who stands in as more of an ally than an adversary), and the wonderfully scary Mads Mikkelsen as the film’s main, yet-to-be-named villain (possibly an avatar of sorts from Doctor Strange big-bad Dormammu).

Watch the trailer — complete with an amazing homage to Christopher Nolan’s Inception below. Doctor Strange arrives in theaters November 4th.
