Rumors continue to persist that ILOVEMAKONNEN has left Drake’s OVO Sound label, and many signs point to it being actual fact. His recent album, Drink More Water 6, was released via Warner Bros., the two have not made any public appearance with other since their remix of “Tuesday” in 2014, and MAK has curiously absent during the label’s OVO showcase at the SXSW Fader Fort in March 2016.
Regardless, Red Dragon MAKONNEN (that’s what it, at the time of this piece, says on his Twitter account) returns with another loosie, this time tributing the now-retired Kobe Bryant who during his last NBA game ever threw up 60 on the Utah Jazz. At that point, an embargo against the Jazz and the playoffs should be levied on the team for at least two seasons. John Stockton and his short pants would be shaking his head. Anyways, enjoy below.
