Run the Jewels Brings Nas Out At Coachella; Premieres Video For “Love Again”

With day three of Coachella now officially underway, it’s time to quickly recap what the previous day’s festivities presented to the legion of festival goers. While A$AP Rocky jump started the weekend with a special appearance from Kanye West, fans were treated to something quite special on Saturday.

Before Killer Mike and El-Producto hit the stage, the duo were properly introduced by Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders (see video below) — where the Democratic hopeful exchanged some encouraging pleasantries to the two emcees. “One of the highlights of running for President over the course of this last year has been getting to know Killer Mike,” revealed Sanders. “His depth of passion, his knowledge and commitment to community is an inspiration to me, and I value his friendship immensely.”

Following Bernie’s incredible intro, Run the Jewels spent a few minutes blasting Trump before running (yes, pun intended) through a number of old and new songs, including “Banana Clipper,” their collaboration with DJ Shadow, “Nobody Speak” and the Gangsta Boo-assisted “Love Again.”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a complete RTJ show without Mass Appeal Records founder Nas showing up. The Queensbridge legend hopped onstage to perform “Made You Look” — ending it on a high note by declaring Run the Jewels as his favorite group, before exiting graciously.
