WebsterX – “Everything” (Video)

WebsterX has released some of my favorite videos over the last year. Between “Doomsday,” “Lately,” and his subsequent KidX EP, the Milwaukee artist has shown a bright level of creativity in visualizing the themes in his music. Revisiting his Radiohead-inspired project, we’re treated with another spectacular video for EP’s opening track, “Everything.”

The visual details an extraterrestrial being crash-landing into the snowy woods of Wisconsin with his sights set on delivering a mask to a child. Despite being chased by the media, the tall, dreaded E.T. runs with a limp in his step to find the youngin’ in need of its identity. Webster delivers the mask, and then the cameras point to the child — just as the rappin’ and singin’ Webster believes will soon enough.

“I got a vision man, Cody and Damien [the directors of the video] allow me to share that with people,” he told Pigeons & Planes, who premiered the video. “People are really starting to realize that slowly. I’ll tell them what that vision is when the world fully accepts me.”
