Judging from the songs I have spun during various sets across the country, it’s safe to say that — after “Work” — the two other singles from Rihanna‘s platinum album ANTI that are as equally ear-attractive to women at social gatherings are “Sex With Me” and “Needed Me.” While “Sex With Me” will instantly bring out their inner lustiness, the murky bounce of “Needed Me” — courtesy of DJ Mustard, Twice as Nice, and Frank Dukes — has taken to the Billboard Hot 100.
“Needed Me” has now received the video treatment, directed by Harmony Korine of Kids and Spring Breakers fame. The Spring Breakers influence is heavy in the video, as Rih Rih — in various states of (un)dress, of course — is apparently involved in a world of gun-wielding, Ducatti-riding gangsters. Who knew that the road to global superstardom was so murderous? Either way, watch as Rihanna channels her inner Beatrix Kiddo below.
Oh, and this is NSFW in every meaning of the phrase.
