Over the past month, Action Bronson has had a rough go at performing around the continent.

At the end of March, Bronsolino was dropped from his schedule performance at George Washington University. Thousands of students signed a petition to get him off the bill due to the belief his music “harbors harmful beliefs and normalizes violence against women and LGBT individuals.” (Bronson was also cut from performing at Toronto’s NXNE festival last year due to similar reasons.)

This weekend, Bronson was scheduled to perform at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut as a part of their Spring Weekend festival, but he again was dropped due to his music. “Our executive-board committee voted on March 31st to remove Action Bronson from our Spring Weekend concert because of his lyrics, music, videos, and the misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia that they promote,” the college’s entertainment committee wrote on Facebook. Kehlani will still perform at the college’s concert.

Last month, when Bronson was originally kicked off the GWU show, he wrote a message explaining his side of the situation.
