Earlier today, the music world was floored by the death of Prince. The music icon’s untimely passing sent shockwaves across the globe—demanding the attention of every news channel, radio station, website, and social media outlet.
If you were an artist and you released something earlier today, chances are it wasn’t heard. To be honest, from the moment I read The Purple One passed, nothing else seemed to matter. We’ve posted plenty of content in the last 12 hours, but if you were to ask me what dropped, I wouldn’t have a clue.

One such artist to get lost in the sauce was Manolo Rose. Currently working on a joint project with Smoke DZA, the Brooklyn native released a new track this morning off his upcoming Soul Of A Rose mixtape. And, trust me when I say this, it’s a banger.
