Blu & Union Analogtronics – “LA Counting” (Video)

blame it on Patrick Glynn April 28, 2016

On May 6, Blu and Union Analogtronics are releasing their LA Counting EP. It has the one song — “LA Counting” — plus four remixes of the tune from Exile, Dibia$e and more, four instrumentals and an acapella version of the song, so you can add to the list of remixes.

The song is described as “a lyrical love letter to the city of Los Angeles” — much like Blu’s last full-length project, Good To Be Home — as he delivers bars over the Paris natives’ melodic, synth-led production. “I grew up in LA County, and if I’m not chasing hoes, I’ll prolly be making paper, and that’s how the story goes,” Blu rocks with on the hook painting a simple, vivid image of the Cali hustle: get money, or get women.

LA Counting is just a sampler of what’s to come from Blu and Union Analogtronics. The two will release a full-length project, Cheetah in the City, at some point this summer.
