It may not be the best of times for A Tribe Called Quest or their fans, but perhaps this big of news will bring some light into their lives.

Following the successful series Daredevil and Jessica Jones, Marvel and Netflix announced the third show between the two, Luke Cage, following the finale of the second season of Daredevil. While the show has a release date of September 30th, Entertainment Weekly has reported that the show has hired ATCQ’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad and producer Adrian Younge to score the series.

Executive producer of Luke Cage, Cheo Hodari Coker, spoke to EW while at a screening of Captain America: Civil War, describing the show as “It’s very sophisticated. I mean, it’s got a ’90s hip hop vibe, but it’s really forward-thinking. We have a lot of different musical appearances, but at the same time, we’ve got the Marvel action. We’ve got drama. I would like this to be, I mean, I know this is heavy but, The Wire of Marvel television, because we really deal with a lot of different issues.”

With Daredevil, Suicide Squad, Civil War, Preacher, and the Summer Olympics, there’s virtually no reason to not be glued to a screen for major parts of the summer.

Netflix also announced that The Punisher will soon join them with its own series.
