YG To Release ‘Still Krazy’ LP In June; New Single Next Week

More than two years after delivering his first studio album, My Krazy Life, YG will drop the follow-up, Still Krazy, in June.

According to a press release, which didn’t give a specific release date for the album, Fo Hunnid will also debut a new single, “Why You Always Hatin?” on next week’s OVO Sound Radio (May 21) on Beats 1, too. This will follow recent releases “Fuck Donald Trump,” “I Wanna Benz,” “G Thang” and last summer’s disgusting “Twist My Fingaz.”

So, at the very least, we can narrow the Still Krazy release date down to four Fridays — June 3, 10, 17 and 24. And given other information in the press release, we can probably knock a couple of those dates off the books, too.

YG is starting a promo tour on June 3 and it lasts until June 12, so I doubt he’d drop the album and then start the promotion. So that probably knocks off the June 3 date. Then, he’s starting a tour with G-Eazy on June 28. And, given the two-week drop between then and the end of the promo tour, I doubt it’ll come out on June 24, either.

So if I had to guess, we’ll get Still Krazy June 10 or 17. But then again, I’ve been wrong plenty times before, because the rap world is one never-ending Clayton Kershaw curveball.
