Mike Dean returns with another instrumental. This time, he crafted an instrumental for model and artist Louise Donegan’s art show, “Liath:”

“‘Liath’ means ‘grey’ in Gaelic. It links me to my Irish roots. Grey is the color of contradiction, the nebulous meeting of black and white — the seamless point at which they blend and cease to represent absolutes. It is the color of organic integration seen in the stones on a beach and the clouds of an oncoming storm. ‘Liath’ is fossils, wisdom, and elders telling olden folklore.”

The exhibit going on now at the Salomon Contemporary Art Gallery in New York City, from May 19th through June 11th.
