In 2015 Wale nabbed his second No. 1 LP with The Album About Nothing. Hoping to continue on both its commercial and critical success, the DMV MMG’er has announced that he will release his fifth album sometime in 2016.
Titled SHINE, the album’s title stands for Still Here Ignoring Negative Energy. To set things off, Wale took to Genius to reveal the lyrics for the project’s first single, “My PYT,” featuring Sam Sneak. While the song will not arrive until tomorrow (May 20th), the lyrics can be checked out below.
