Ho.lee.shit. Soulja Boy wasn’t lying—this muthaf*cka is getting P-A-I-D.

Last month, the rapper hinted at a deal he just signed for $400 million—which obviously had social media crying foul. But as it turns out, Soulja is really out here making moves.

According to Billboard, Soulja Boy’s enormous payout is being dealt by World Poker Fund Holdings, a leading developer and operator of online and event-based social gaming platforms and brands.

Calling SB “one of the most influential urban entertainers and artists on social media today,” WPFH confirmed the 5-year endorsement earlier today (5/20).

“I invest in things I understand,” Soulja Boy said. “I enjoy music, and of course gaming. Being an influencer is a form of currency. Having portfolio diversification is critical if you want to be an effective brand ambassador. With regards to World Poker Fund, I believe in its strategy, its team, the vision, and management’s ability to target its financial goals.”

A spokesperson for WPFH offered more insight behind their decision.

“The world of marketing is changing,” said Matthew Bird. “Today’s biggest influencers are not brands, but individuals who create content that drive loyalty and brand sentiment. We no longer are fed content from major news networks — we seek it out and consume it by individual influencers that enrich our lifestyles. Soulja Boy represents the best of the best and we are already seeing the impact from his presence.”

Oh, and let’s not forget, Soulja also just signed a deal with FilmOn.

You can’t do nothing but respect the hustle.
