The DopeHouse has been a fan of Malaysian singer/songwriter Yuna for several years now, and when she announced that she will be releasing a new album this year — Chapters — the news was more than well-received. Her melodic musical style has appeared to shift in direction as well: after working with the likes of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (separately, not together as The Neptunes), the first single from Chapters was the boom bap-inflected jam produced by DJ Premier “Places To Go.” That was then followed up by a duet with Usher, “Crush,” and finally the deceptively soulful “Lanes.”

Yuna has now released Chapters, a 13-track effort which also has a feature from Jhené Aiko on the song “Used To Love You.” Chapters can be streamed below, and purchased via iTunes.
