Flume‘s long-awaited Skin LP is finally set to arrive on Friday. With one last offering before the 16-track album lands, the Australian producer debuted the album’s closing song, “Tiny Cities,” featuring Beck on Beats 1 radio.

Following a long line of singles including “Never Be Like You” and “Smoke & Retribution” with Vince Staples, “Tiny Cities” aims to capture a similar anthemic, stadium-rocking summer sound as its predecessors. Given its role as closing out an album, it seems like it’ll be a nice ambiance to calmly finish a tracklist that contains songs like “Wall Fuck” and a range of features from Vic Mensa, Allan Kingdom, AlunaGeorge and more.

Bookending the premiere, both Beck and Flume talked about working together. Beck, more specifically, pointed out how he enjoyed working with someone who’s grown up with programs like Pro Tools and Live, which started as simple programs back in the 90s and have developed into complete spaces to make music. The process of actually recording the song, though? It was a bit easier.

“I just plugged a microphone into his laptop,” Beck said. “I just ran around the house singing a bunch of random things. Just walking around, prowling the room, speaking in tongues,” he joked.
