It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from I-20, but the baritone emcee is finally back to business!

Teaming up with DJ Pain 1 as H.T.M., the duo will be releasing a new song each Monday as part of a new series—which hopefully leads to a full project.

The first release—making its debut at the DopeHouse—finds H.T.M. linking with Royce Da 5’9″ for “Hard To Find.”

Over a loop accented by funky guitar licks, an in-the-pocket drum break and a cleverly scratched Big Pun vocal sample pulled from “The Dream Shatterer,” the Decatur, GA emcee makes it clear that he hasn’t hung up his coat and hat, amidst his intermission, just yet—while sending a warning to those who may have had plans to replace him.

“N***as swear they out here spittin’ Kush—I’m a laced blunt.”

Nickel Nine—now focused more than ever—has no problems running up and sticking a sawed-off pump to the chest of any suckers, while also validating his own veteran status.
