Rick Ross is trying to throw his hat in the “cookout season anthem” ring.
Having a relatively low-key 2016, Ross has instead appeared on tracks with the likes of B Smyth and Chrisette Michele. However, he united Meek Mill and Wale for the first single from Self Made 4, “Make It Work.” He has now unveiled a new single, “Same Hoes.”
The second offering from Self Made 4, the song is essentially a three-minute version of Snoop Dogg’s rant at the end of 2Pac’s All Eyez On Me single “All About U.” Rick name-drops everyone from Yo Gotti to Russell Simmons to Justin Bieber to David Beckham, saying that they’ve all had trysts with the same women. How swell.
