Where Father’s Day is a celebration of fatherhood, whether looking up to the men who raised you or looking down at the kids you’ve raised, for some, it’s also hard day for plenty — those whose fathers have passed or were never there in the first place.
Ace Hood dropped a new tune the day following the “holiday” expressing the loneliness he feels on “Father’s Day.” He struggles to see his kids for multiple reasons — he’s entrapped by the hard work it takes to succeed in the rap world, plus there’s beef between he and his kids’ mother. But the Florida native keeps his head as high as he possibly can with all the weight on his shoulders and is sure better, more positive days will come from the lonely times like he experienced yesterday.
