In an effort to help bring light and attention to the devastating refugee crisis and rapid human displacement worldwide, Common, Gregory Porter and Keyon Harrold team up for “Running (Refugee Song).”

This is the first installment of a new initiative, Compositions for a Cause, which aims to “advance social justice and humanitarian causes through innovative music collaborations.”

Released on World Refugee Day (yesterday), the song takes the place of a singular refugee running from tent to tent and camp to camp after being forced from home, becoming one of more than 60 million displaced refugees in the world.

Listen to the song below, and head to the organization’s website to download “Running” and donate to the cause.
