It’s been almost two years since deM atlaS dropped an album, but the Rhymesayers signee has his sights set on a July 15 return with a new mixtape, mF deM, made up rhymes from deM over previously recorded MF DOOM beats.
The first selection to see the light of day is “Grbge Trsh,” which uses DOOM’s “Garbage Day #3” instrumental as the back drop. Now while it’s insanely hard to sound bad over a DOOM beat, deM adds a ridiculous energy and personality (with a James Brown-esque squeal) as he takes a self-deprecating role commenting on his knowledge, ability to play sports and everything between.
