Politico reports that Kendrick Lamar — fresh off his fiery BET Awards opening performance with Beyonce — will be heading back to the White House this coming Monday.

King Kendrick will be joined by Janelle Monae, the POTUS and Michelle Obama on the South Lawn for “a barbecue, a concert and a fireworks” show for the Obama’s last Fourth of July celebrations from the White House.

The celebrations “will host military heroes and their families on Independence Day” while “White House staff and their families from throughout the administration will also attend this event for the fireworks viewing,” revealed White House press secretary Josh Earnest.

Kendrick Lamar is no stranger to the Obamas, having previously visited the White House earlier this year, in which the Compton rapper documented the entire experience in a new short titled “Pay It Forward.”
