In 2013, Blu and Nottz released one of the best projects of the year with Gods In The Spirit. Now, the two are back with the official follow-up, Titans In The Flesh.

“The EP is themed around Greek and Roman mythology, with our own personal twist,” Blu told Noisey. “Instead, Nottz and I play the Gods and Titans, along with all the lyrical beasts featured on the record. The title means ‘be strong,’ be more than you are, be a God or be a Titan, and run with it!”

Announced only a month ago, the project instantly rose towards the top of our most-anticipated list with a trip to “Atlantis.” Ten days later, they secured the top spot after taking “Giant Steps” with Bishop Lamont, Skyzoo and Torae.

Titans In The Flesh isn’t as in-your-face as its predecessor, but this allows Blu even more room to find his comfort zone and deliver some of his most introspective rhymes since Below the Heavens.

At seven tracks, the EP features the previously-mentioned trio of Lamont, Sky and Tor, as well as Exile, Mickey Factz, Johaz, Akie Bermiss, and a few others. Thankfully, despite the amount of guests, the bulk of them appear on a pair of posse cuts, leaving Blu and Nottz plenty of space to operate.

Press play on Titans In The Flesh below and be sure to pick up the EP on iTunes. Or, if physical copies are more your thing, the project is available on limited-edition yellow vinyl as well.
