The tail end of May brought us a brand new album from Frank Nitt and Eritrean-bred, Italy-based producer Robroy, which, unfortunately, crept beneath the radar of many heads (including yours truly).
Asphalt Runways — released via Frank and Robroy’s newly launched label Primo Atto Entertainment and distributed by legendary indie label Delicious Vinyl — featured DJ Rhettmatic, Guilty Simpson, Terry “Zapp” Troutman, Oh No, Bishop Lamont, Rah Digga, Kokane and more.
The album also saw a reunion of Frank and Illa J, whose last appearance together was on their 2015 single, “Slippin.” Watch the official video for “Aye Girl” up top.
