Denzel Curry – “Today” f. Boogie & Allan Kingdom

blame it on Patrick Glynn July 19, 2016

Last night, Denzel Curry and Boogie announced they’ve decided to meet halfway between the East and West Coast to start a three-month trip across the country on the Black Metal Terrorist tour.

Naturally, the must have some sort of chemistry if they’re traveling to various cities together in close quarters, and it’d evident on Curry’s new tune, “Today,” which features the Compton native and Allan Kingdom.

Brought together by Kingdom’s hook (“I’m doing what I want today”), the two rappers in their early 20s boast their carefree-yet-determined lifestyle, which Curry described the song as his “inner thoughts” and him being as honest as possible. Though his flow is a bit more calm than usual, Curry’s energy is front and center before Boogie’s precise bars take over.
