Soulspazm Records, distribution home to Terrace Martin, Med, Blu and Madlib, Kosha Dillz, Damu the Fudgemunk and more has enlisted J57 to remix Theory Hazit‘s “Optical Illusion” record.
The original appeared on the Cincinnati, Ohio native’s Fall of the Light Bearer LP, released in 2015 (purchase on iTunes).
In contrast to the original, J57’s remix is a bit more jovial, with cracking drums, a hint of reverb and incorporating a similar, pulsating bassline as heard on the original into the mix. Hear it below and cop the remix officially on iTunes.
