Fat Joe and Remy Ma nabbed a New York summer anthem with their hit single “All The Way Up,” then updated it by including JAY Z in the mix. Now, they hope to bookend their cookout season with yet another collaboration with French Montana, “Cookin’.”
Slated to land on Joe and Remy’s Platas o Plomo, the song sticks to the same format as its predecessor: a potential earworm of a hook, backed by a bass-heavy beat. However RySoValid, Fat Joe’s son, replaces Infrared on the hook. “Cookin'” has been released on TIDAL, which could explain why Kanye West is upset with these so-called streaming wars. Or something.
