This Saturday, Lauryn Hill’s Austin City Limits concert will air on PBS.
Earlier in the week, we got a preview of two songs from the set, “Mystery of Iniquity” and “Doo Wop (That Thing).” So before the full 60-minute concert arrives at 11 p.m. tomorrow night, the station unveils another performance from the setlist — a rendition of The Fugees’ “Ready Or Not.”
I understand Ms. Hill has a bad rap for showing up late (or not showing up at all) to shows sometimes, but these couple clips from the ACL concert help prove why people keep showing up to her shows. When she’s performing, she’s easily giving it 115 percent and the energy in the room is tangible.
