Following their highly successful and well-received collaboration with Big Boi (under the banner of Big Grams), Phantogram revealed the title to their upcoming, third studio album, Three, which came attached with a teaser for their new single “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore,” quickly followed by “Run Run Blood.”
While at the Lollapalooza after-party (at House of Blues) this year, the duo of Sarah Barthel and Josh Carter premiered a brand new single titled “Cruel World” which features all the classic elements of a Phantogram song, including Josh’s incredible skills at chopping up old Soul records. While the past two singles were a little more “left-field,” “Cruel World” stands out and sounds promising as a massive new single for the upstate New York duo. I truly can’t wait to hear the CDQ of this one.
