Chattanooga, TN natives TUT and Isaiah Rashad reunite after getting together on TUT’s Preacher’s Son project last year.

This time around, the citymates get together on a loosie from TUT called “G35” — named after his first car that his mom bought him while he was in high school, detailing the ambitious conversations he’d have in the Infiniti.

TUT raps, “we went and did a lot of shit just to say that we did it,” over the KToven production, summarizing the carefree nature plenty post-college, aimless young adults reminisce on when the bills start piling up.

At the very least, this tune should remind you of your first car (or, if anything, the first car you rode around in with your friends.) I had a ’99 Saturn SL2 whose crappy stereo system nearly broke down every time my friends and I left the school parking lot from making a scene and blaring Daft Punk, The Pack and other unmentionable artists every day.

Listen to “G35” below.
