With the amount of unpublicized charity and community work that Chance the Rapper puts in, the Chicago rapper is certainly deserving of a Noble Peace Prize nomination, or at the very least, something of a similar caliber.
A couple of days ago, Chano — who just snatched up a Billboard cover story/interview — got the chance to go record digging with the revered music publication at Chicago’s Reckless Records.
After perusing the record shop’s plethora of vinyl, cassettes and CDs, Chance ended up walking out with the 1975 The Wiz broadway soundtrack, Mick Jenkins‘ The Waters, J Dilla’s Donuts, the Jesus Christ Superstar soundtrack, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) The O’Jay’s Backstabbers and more — before walking out to hand them out to eager fans. Check it out below.
