Following the success of Dreams Worth More Than Money, Meek Mill found himself embroiled in a war of words against former friend Drake throughout the second half of 2015. A series of diss tracks followed, with Drake presumably “winning” when “Back To Back” garnered a 2016 GRAMMY nomination.

Meek has stayed largely quiet throughout 2016, while dealing with probation and house arrest. With the latter recently ending, he has since been spotted out and about Philadelphia, and he recently sat down with MyMixtapez for a lengthy interview. In his sit-down he spoke on his ambitions to be as inspirational as Allen Iverson was to him when growing up, ignoring the negative feedback from various social media outlets, making sure his family and friends are well taken care of and more.

He gives a brief status update on DC4 (it’s his “re-introduction,” he proclaims), including some of the producers he’s grabbed for the project, as well as aftermath of his rift with Drake.
