I’m personally dreading Monday, mainly because fall semester finally kicks off following a rather stressful, but overall peaceful summer break.

On the plus side, I do look forward to Monday, September 5th which happens to be Labor Day. For those of you living in the Bay Area, what better way to celebrate than heading down to 3rd and Chestnut in West Oakland for the 5th annual Hiero Day?

The Hieroglyphics Imperium-hosted event, which was declared as an official holiday by Oakland Mayor Jean Quan back in 2012, will feature three stages and 25 musical acts this year, with the price of pre-sale admission tickets set at $19.93 (get it?)
