Barz (aka Barz Da Beast) is stepping up to the plate to help put his city of Hammond, Indiana (a city
which Pyro Dinero also calls home) on the map.
The young, 20-something-year old rising rapper’s music may be deeply embedded in the trap, but peeling back the layers of his music shows a lot of maturity and self-awareness, using his immediate surroundings and environment within his city (and outside city limits) as inspiration.
Today, Barz narrates his rise from the streets to where he stands “Right Now,” through all the pitfalls and shortstops, and while the future is not necessarily outside of his peripheral, his current concerns for he, his family and his team is what’s happening in the moment.
