Fresh off a series of freestyles, Roc Nation’s Vic Mensa recently sat down with Bootleg Kev to discuss a variety of things.

With just under 25 minutes on the clock, Mensa breaks down There’s A lot Going On (which he calls autobiographical), touches on his relationship with Chance the Rapper, shares his dismay with this year’s XXL Freshman list, talks police brutality, being replaced by Frank Ocean on “Wolves,” and more.

At the end, Kev asks Vic what five albums would he’d bring if he had to do a three year bid. Because being stuck on an island is old news, or something. Anyways, his answers might surprise you.
