A couple months ago while M.I.A. was in the middle of record label and visa issues, she released a double-sided song in the form of “OLA/Foreign Friend.”

The second part of the song now has been morphed, extended and sprinkled with a roaring hook from Jamaican artist Dexta Daps as her fifth and final album, AIM, is set to drop on Friday.

She premiered the song on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show Wednesday afternoon, where she also sat for an interview detailing her trips to the Himilayas and Jamaica (where she met and recorded with Daps) and explaining the influence behind her album, which she agreed revolved around many of her experiences traveling the world.

She’s released songs with Diplo (“Bird Song“), ZAYN (“Freedun“) and more so far.

Check out both “Foreign Friend” and the interview below.
