During the recording stages of DOOM‘s 2009/2010 maxi-single “Gazzillion Ear,” Radiohead’s Thom Yorke supplied a fresh remix — make that two remixes for J-Dilla-produced original, spread amongst remixes from both Jneiro Jarel and Dr. Who Dat?
Released through London-based indie label Lex Records, Thom was also hired for another rework of the single for the ever-mysterious masked Hip-Hop villain, which has never been heard until today. Entitled the “Gazilli” remix, this previously unheard remix features Thom’s signature quirky production — and for something recorded nearly seven years ago, it somehow manages to sound just as fresh as it would have had it been officially released back then.
