For the past seven weeks, Marion Write has been sharing a new song every Monday. There’s no title to the series or anything, the Vegas emcee just wants to get your week started on the right foot. Nice, right?
Today is no different, as Write returns with “Problems” — a heartfelt record that’s been dedicated to an old friend who recently committed suicide.
“A couple of weeks ago I was disturbed by news of a high school friend who took his own life,” Marion shared via email. “Between the thoughts and grievance I felt is was right to dedicate and release this record Problems that I had wrote earlier this year during a time in which, myself too, was in my own head quite a bit. I strongly suggest that should you, or anybody you know, feeling doubtful, to confide in someone. Find someone to speak to, I assure it helps a lot.”
